Societal development
Success tied to societal development
Societal development and business success go hand in hand. One is dependent on the other and vice versa. ACCIONA strikes a balance between these challenges in our management model with the firm belief that it is the right thing to do and will also result in our long-term success as a company.
ACCIONA’s commitment to societal development and sustainability is defined by two key strategies from our management model:
- Contribution to society through services and products
- Collaboration in societal development projects in line with business objectives and in accordance with local requirements in the areas of operation
As a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), we make a commitment and assume a significant role in the creation of sustainable models for living and in the development of more prosperous societies through our actions.
The ACCIONA Social Action Policy was established in 2007. With this new tool, we’ve formalized our commitment to establish strategic plans of action to monitor our contributions and measure their impact.
